Who can receive support through the CSRF Helpdesk?

Priority will be given to operational agencies (i.e. multilateral agencies, international and national NGOs) with requests that are related to policy considerations or programmatic changes/adjustments being made in response to COVID-19 and its impact on South Sudan.

How does the CSRF Helpdesk work and how long does it take?

The flow chart below describes the process for accessing support through the CSRF Helpdesk – with working days elapsed since the request is submitted shown in orange circles. In most cases, we aim to share a draft deliverable with you within 14 working days (see step 8 below) of submitting the request. However, in some cases the nature of the task, limitations on CSRF staff availability, requirements for external specialist expertise, or delays in receiving feedback will mean tasks take longer to complete.

How much does it cost to receive support from the CSRF Helpdesk?

The CSRF does not charge for its services accessed through the CSRF Helpdesk. The initiative is funded by the British, Canadian, Dutch and Swiss governments as a free-of-charge service to the aid community.

Am I guaranteed to receive support if I submit a request through the CSRF Helpdesk?

We welcome all requests for support that relate to conflict sensitivity in the context of COVID-19 in South Sudan. However, we are only a small team and may not have capacity to explore all requests within the 2-3 week window indicated above. In such cases, we may look to provide support over a longer timeframe or alternative forms of support that we can still offer on a timely basis.
