About the helpdesk

The CSRF Helpdesk is able to provide short-term, remote support on conflict sensitivity to agencies adjusting their programming to peace and conflict dynamics in South Sudan.

Click here for a flow chart that describes the process for accessing support through the CSRF Helpdesk. We anticipate that this support will be limited and take no more than 5 working days (undertaken over a period of 2 to 3 weeks) to complete. Examples of support that the CSRF could provide include:

  • Desk-based conflict sensitivity review of programme strategies;
  • Desk-based review or co-design of conflict sensitivity tools/guidance notes (or integration of conflict-sensitivity considerations into other tools/guidance);
  • Remote facilitation of discussions on conflict sensitivity (e.g. implications of conflict analysis);
  • Short, remote orientations on conflict sensitivity using Skype or Zoom;
  • Short literature reviews synthesising evidence on specific conflict sensitivity topics;

The CSRF is unable to undertake conflict (sensitivity) analysis or provide recommendations specific to a local context through the helpdesk at this stage. However, we can support you to manage, design and implement such a process.
