This study explores the experiences of displacement, return and reintegration among South Sudanese refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). The study identifies a number of challenges that hamper return, such as floods, droughts and insecurity. Finally, it provides a set of recommendations on the design of policies and programmes that can facilitate potential return of South Sudanese IDPs and refugees and promote durable solutions.
