The World Bank, in coordination with the Directorate of Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development (MoLPSHRD), conducted an expedient market assessment, skills gaps and youth needs assessment in selected payams in Juba and Torit Counties in 2014. Forcier Consulting were contracted to support this work. This research is expected to support effective and relevant skills training and employment with respect to a pilot scheme for the first phase skills component of the Safety Net and Skills Development Project (SNSDP). The study was funded by the World Bank.
